About ASIF

ASIF is a house of considered things, gathered from the makers who do them best.

Why we exist

We began with a single conviction: that the things we live with shape the way we live. A house full of considered objects is a different house. A wardrobe of pieces made to last is a different wardrobe. We choose for the long term, in a world built for the short one.

How we choose

We do not make most of what we offer. We find it. We seek out independent houses and ateliers whose work is made to last: materials they can trace, care in every step, and a way of doing business we can stand behind. Then we present each piece in the room where it belongs, so you can see how it will live with you before it arrives.

Who answers to you

Many pieces travel to you directly from the maker who created them. Whoever ships it, your order is with ASIF-Company Inc., and we answer to you for it: its delivery, its return, and the warranty the law gives you. The Concierge is here Monday to Saturday at care@asif.company.

Our name

אָסִיף (asif) is the Hebrew word for the ingathering: the harvest brought in at the turning of the year (Exodus 23:16). It is what we do. We gather what is good, and we bring it home.
